Being an intern or a working student at Picnic means freedom and responsibility from Day 1. You’ll work on your own project, have full ownership, and have a direct impact on the business. As an integral part of your team, you’ll learn by doing and quickly develop your skills. Of course, we won’t hang you out to dry.
As a working student at the Picnic Meals team I work on the Picnic-Ambassador program. For this project, I work on sourcing the best possible creators that fit the Picnic brand and make a plan on what they should create on a monthly basis so that we can grow our Meals business. I also work on automating all manual processes to make the program more efficient and scale the current number of creators even further. It’s a really interesting project that combines creative concept development, data analysis, and project management—in short, a great opportunity to learn a lot at Picnic!

We ask for an average of 16 hours per week, but we get it—university comes first. You’ll have the flexibility to adjust your hours when needed, especially during exams. The key? Just keep us in the loop!
Young, dynamic, and fun! We work hard, but we love a good time too. From ski trips to Christmas parties and team events, you’ll have plenty of chances to connect with your colleagues beyond the office.
No way! At Picnic, you’ll be part of real projects, making an impact from day one. We want you to learn, grow, and bring fresh ideas—because that’s what we’re all about.
Throughout the interview process, we’ll get to know you, your interests, and your university’s requirements to make sure we land on a topic that fits both your academic goals and what we’re working on at Picnic. You’ll have a mentor to guide and support you with your thesis project.
It’s definitely possible! Many of our team members started as interns or working students and grew into full-time roles. It all comes down to your performance, impact, and whether we’re a great match for each other.
